The Beach House Restaurant

This is a review of the Castle in the Sand Hotel DINING for BREAKFAST BUFFET. We loved their restaurant with breakfast buffet on this past Sunday morning (not sure if they have it every day). ONCE WE FOUND the entrance.....it's either through the hotel or a back entrance by the parking lot. :). The buffet had everything including fresh eggs, omelet eggs, corned beef hash, ham, sausage, etc... AND a waffle bar. The service was fantastic and the place was very clean. This is a great place! OH, AND BY THE WAY, try the coffee! It's from a local vendor and it's the best we've had ever!

location is great! walking distance to the beach (and a pretty good spot too!)
but hotel is on the older side.
the food at the adjoined restaurant is pretty good, but live music is loud (could hear inside my room even though all doors and windows were closed).
the room was spacious but the kitchen had a strange odor that wouldn’t go away throughout the stay.
slightly worried about the lock on the door because it doesn’t seem that secure or reliable but nevertheless didn’t cause issues
i would recommend bringing your own breakfast because the hotel breakfast is really expensive- coffee is excellent though!
overall despite a few negatives, i really enjoyed my time in ocean city and at the castle in the sand hotel!

The outside bar and grill Coconuts is nice if you are part of the partying crowd and like loud noise.
But if you like a more laid back vibe or have kids, theres no point in paying for a place like this.
The pool is very nice and a bonus, the hotel is close to the beach. My only complaint is the rooms need updated.
