In Philadelphia, when it comes to cold-cut based sandwiches, there aren't any “submarines.” A “hero” is best described as someone who puts their life on the line for the safety of others, such as the firemen, policemen and our military. A “zeppelin” is something that occasionally floats over a big sporting event. The truth is, to real Philadelphians; it's long been known as a hoagie. According to popular belief, the hoagie originated in Philadelphia many years ago. It has been produced in many varieties and styles, and has long been one of the most popular food items in the Delaware Valley. Although you can find hoagies being made on just about every other street corner in South Philadelphia, we at Primo have kicked it up a notch, and we're bringing that excellence to Ocean City.

Was visiting OC for Vacation. I was looking for sandwich for lunch. The national grinder chains offer soft crust bread. I was looking for something different! I notice PrimeHoagies had a different roll. My wife and I stopped an ordered a veg hoagie and a ham&cheese hoagie. The service was great, shop is also has access to a bar. Seating is limited outside of the bar, however. You have to order the sesame roll separately, standard sandwich doesn't have it. Both crusts are crunchy, which I love! The roll reminds me of bread that you get Arthur avenue in the Bronx NY! I would come again!

They sold me two rice puddings one dated 1/29 and the other dated 1/22. It was runny and sour. Mind you i just placed this order this past Sunday. Mid February. I currently work in a restaurant. Have since I am 15. I would never sell someone anything thats almost a month old. Probably will be hitting up southside instead for hoagies. Not worth the risk of getting sick from month old food.

The Spicy Sharp Italian Sub was fire. So good. I can see why they have been rated the #1 sandwich in America.
