The Ocean Pines Golf & Country Club is a membership course open to the public and available for group outings and tournaments. Our professionally staffed facility features a clubhouse, full-service Golf Shop, locker room facilities, double ended driving range, sheltered driving area, practice chipping and pitching green, two practice putting greens, and two practice sand bunkers. Services available include clinics, private lessons, club cleaning & repair, and bag storage.

Did research of all the recommended courses in the Ocean City area. Looked at prior reviews, scorecards and course layouts to help find the right fit for the skill set of the group.
Ocean Pines was part of the top tier courses on multiple sites. Having not played Ocean Pines before this trip, I selected as one of our 4 rounds.
The cost was $130 which included a cart.
There were multiple tee boxes which were sand and not grass, it’s early June and would not expect these conditions. There are NUMEROUS fairways which are grass bare. Many green collars are patchy at best. The greens were bumpy and SLOW. Any putt over 30 feet required a full swing to maybe reach the hole. One guy joked on a long putt, “had to go get a hybrid to have a chance to get to hole”. Many ball washers had no water. Were told by the attendant to NOT drink water by the bathrooms and yet there were NO water coolers on the course at all.
The beverage cart did come around but it was a hot day and water would have been beneficial.
The only golf positive from this experience was the actual course layout was very interesting.
Having to explain to the other seven guys “how did you pick this dog track” “we drive past River Run to play THIS” and so on is very embarrassing.
