Courtyard by Marriott Ocean City Oceanfront

We had a great stay at the Courtyard with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter. The whole hotel was under renovation, but it didn’t affect our experience. The rooms were clean, fresh, and comfortable. The front desk staff was welcoming. A big thank you to the restaurant team, especially Jimmy, Jodi, and Kim from the Captain’s Table: They went out of their way to make sure my little one was happy. We only visited once for a snack in the evening, but they were so kind and made us feel special. Definitely a place we’ll consider again!

The staff were very friendly. The location is perfect. It's far enough away from the busy end of the boardwalk to be peaceful - off-season. We were here in May for my birthday. The water was cool at first but we quickly adapted.
Our room had a partial Ocean view and a nice balcony with seating for two. We left the balcony door open (it is screened) and fell asleep to the waves crashing.
The swimming pool is in a courtyard glass-enclosed. There is what they call a "conversation" area that looks like a hot tub. It's not. It's just a round portion that sits above the pool and feeds into it. After walking the boardwalk I would have liked to have had a hot tub but it was still nice to relax there before going to the room for the night.
Our room had a trundle sofa, a first for us at a Marriott. I thought that was a very nice touch for a small family. Little kids would be happy with that.
The boardwalk was exceptionally clean. Unlike Atlantic City, it felt safe walking on it after dark.
We will be making a point of coming back. Marriott, once again, made our impromptu trip a nice one.

To me, December is a great time to visit. This is a great location on the boardwalk. It wasn't ocean front but still had a good view from my room. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bathroom was nice as well. The staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful. Look forward to staying here again.
